Shows and Entertainment

There are many wonderful shows, shops, and other forms of entertainment in Las Vegas. Todd and Christina love going to Las Vegas and they do not even gamble much. Vegas has so many other forms of entertainment available that you can have a great time without ever gambling. We will be attending a few shows and restaurants as detailed in our itinerary. Below you will find short descriptions of these shows, and a few other suggestions for how to enjoy the rest of your trip.

Be sure to RSVP and let us know which of these events you plan to attend. Once we get a decent number, we can see about getting ticket discounts.

Thunder from Down Under

The Thunder from Down Under is a chippendale-style show with a bunch of Aussies. The women can get a little unruly, and the performers' motto of "You can touch and feel all you want, just don't hurt the boys" encourages them. Christina, Pam (Todd's mom), and Maria (Christina's mom) went to the show when both families went to Vegas in 2007, and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Maria even exercised a slight squeeze of a performer's toosh, which she vehemently claims was a light pat in an effort to keep the performer from stepping on her purse. Riiiiight.

Crazy Girls

There are a million different shows for the guys to go to while the ladies go to Thunder. Luckily, we did not have to choose because Crazy Girls was the only show started close to the same time as Thunder! Do not worry though. The guys were sure to thoroughly research the other options anyways.

Nightclub

We will be going to a 21+ nightclub on Thursday night after the wedding. We have not decided on a specific club yet.

KA (Cirque Du Soleil)

KA is supposed to be the premier Cirque Du Soleil show in Las Vegas. Christina and Todd's families were unable to go to KA when they visited Vegas in 2007 because the show was taking the week off. Fortunately, KA will be having shows during our trip this year. We strongly recommend that you go to KA.

Other Great Shows and Attractions

There are many other great shows and attractions in Las Vegas. If you enjoy the Cirque Du Soleil style shows, we recommend Le Reve. We went to Le Reve and O (Cirque Du Soleil) in 2007 and believe that Le Reve is waaaaaay better than O. Le Reve rocked.

Other fun attractions include the Blue Man Group, the Forum shops and Caesars Palace, and the wicked awesome Star Trek: The Experience at the Hilton.
